Earlier this year, I wrote a little post about the social enterprise that is Kampung@Simpang Bedok. The good folks who run it contacted me a few days ago, and mentioned that they were having a Charity Blitz. “Connecting people and causes that matter” – sounds simply awesome.
In addition to talks and live music, there will be sales of pre-loved items in support of the various charities listed below. Fion Phua herself was featured in the newspapers, as she’ll be selling items to top-up the EZ-Link cards of needy students. How cool is that.
Come on down to this quiet nook of Singapore, have some solid hawker food, and show your Kampung spirit, people!
