Olive Oil Skincare Company’s new range! (with Giveaway)

We have been fans of the Olive Oil Skincare Company ever since they launched in Singapore, and now they have introduced a new range of products!

We were privileged to recently receive a generous set of skincare products to review, all bundled up the lovely box below.

Hand Wash and Hand Cream 

First, we tried the Hand Wash ($29.90, 500ml) which contains micro-fine bamboo bits as an exfoliator. Initially I thought that it comprised the usual plastic beads found in some skincare products, but was impressed to learn that it was eco-friendly bamboo instead, which decomposes naturally and doesn’t end up as toxic waste in the sea, poisoning sea life and the like.

I tried the natural version, but there is also a Lemon Scented Tea Tree version which should be very nice!

The Hand Cream ($19.90, 40ml) applies smoothly, and moisturised my hands well without being too oily. Its key feature is the Olive Leaf Extract which prevents age spots. The hand cream also lightens skin and provides free-radical quenching from the ozone.

Body Wash, Hair Conditioner and Face Wash

Share your body wash with your babies! The Olive Oil Skincare Company’s Body Wash ($29.90, 500ml) uses extra virgin olive oil as its base, and is gentle enough even for babies’ skin. I like the fact that it dispenses easily in the packaging of this new line, and the creamy wash makes for a luxurious lathering.  We tried the Violet Leaf scent which was very distinctive; it comes in Citrus Bloom and Rose Geranium scents too.

I really liked the Mint Absolute Conditioner ($17.90, 200ml) which conditions my dry hair richly, with a lovely minty scent to boot.

The Juniper Orange Face Wash ($26.90, 300ml) has a very refreshing scent, a perfect pick-me-up in the morning. I believe that it is very important for facial washes to be all natural, since this is our face we’re talking about! The most delicate skin that has to face the world daily. So this formulation with Extra Virgin Olive Oil provides nutrients, polyphenols and Vitamins A and E – so much good stuff to keep our facial skin clean and supple.

Check out their new Baby Range too, which includes interesting products like Gentle Pear Cradle Cap Oil, Gentle Pear Bubble Bath, and Gentle Pear Soothing Baby Balm, comprising jojoba, wheatgerm, Vitamin E as well as Buriti Oil as ingredients.

Here’s the happy family of Olive Oil Skincare products in our bathroom! I must say that we are almost on our third bottle of the Rose Geranium Olive Oil Shampoo, and I have single-handedly finished using two bar soaps as body wash. I really liked the formulation of the bar soaps, which cleanse very thoroughly yet always leaves my skin feeling well-moisturised.
