It was a beautiful morning when we arrived at the Changi Point Coastal Boardwalk a few weeks ago around 730am.
I am not sure why the morning sun always looks like the setting sun in my photos, but oh wells, here’s what it is.
The hubs went for a jog, and I tried to brisk walk but couldn’t help stopping many times to take photos and videos, as it was a truly scenic walk.
The tide was out.
The intense calm, halfway through the walk.
The boardwalk was constructed along some old coastal paths, and twisted and wound quaintly. Some parts were stone steps, or sandy patches.
I really enjoyed the tiny stretch of forested area, where the sounds of crickets were deafening.
This huge boulder looked like a big grizzly bear. Can you see it turning around to face you?
This was the final end of the boardwalk. A lady was sitting there silently…
A beautiful stretch on the return journey.
Saw a heron take flight and land on the sandy beach. Spent a few moments just marvelling at its beauty.
Some chalets within the Changi Sailing Club. Impressed by this tall symbol of fecundity.
After the long walk, it was Nasi Lemak time! Hooray.
And a sight that is uniquely Singapore. A scene from the Changi Village HDB flats captured in a square.
Stay safe everyone, and may restoration come soon.
For now, we leave you with the sights and sounds (what a cacophony!) of our calming walk that day.
