Very seldom do I write about the same place twice, but I have grown to like this cafe so much that I felt that another post was necessary to do justice to what it offers! (Also as a repository for my poser photos, haha.)
When this was presented to us, my friends and I just felt that this cafe was special. The effort taken to plate well was obvious, and somehow one can always sense when it is done, not because of customer expectations, or because the price commands such presentation, but from a love of the craft, and pride in delivering one’s best.
And this orange chiffon cake. So simple, yet so delicious. I’ve had it twice, and its matcha cousin once.
Tea is served in these beautiful bone china tea cups. Guess it shouldn’t really, but the receptacle does make it seem to taste better! A feast for the eyes always makes for a pleasant meal, in any case.
After so much food, I wasn’t sure if there would be space for an entire bubble tea drink. So I asked for it “to go”, and it was yums.
Quality Thai food for a steal – if you have seen waiters and waitresses in Thai garb bringing food in and didn’t know why, that’s because the food is carried over from a couple of streets away, from its famous (and very atas) parent eatery. Enough secrets for now, shall not reveal that name, but suffice to say, it thus comes as no surprise why the food is so very good!
